Congratulations to the winners of COABE's prestigious awards, incentive grants, and scholarships.

Learner of the Year: Melanie Cantu Casper College Casper, WY (Nominated by Vicky Crume)

Teacher of the Year: Kathy Laws Yakima Valley Community College, Yakima, WA (Nominated by Kerri Abb)

Administrator of the Year: Diane Inverso Mayor’s Commission on Literacy, Philadelphia, PA (Nominated by Alyson Showell)

Outstanding Workplace Literacy Program: JCPS Workforce Services Louisville, KY (Nominated by Julie Scoskie)

Partners in Adult Learning Service: King County Library System Auburn, WA (Nominated by Laura Griep)

Promoting Literacy at the National and International Level: Myrna Manly Reno, NV (Nominated by Lynda Ginsburg)

Lifetime Achievement: Albert Campbell Querida Enterprises Bryan, TX (Nominated by Andy Tyskiewicz)

Award winners receive $1,000 stipend plus $350 toward conference registration and $650 toward travel costs. Nominators receive $350 toward conference registration.
