THE CUBAN GUY
MOTIVATIONAL SPEAKER

cuban-guy.jpg

Andres graduated with honors from Montclair State University with a major in Speech Communication and a minor in creative writing. He is the author of several international-selling books including "Inspire The Sleeping Giant Within" which is published in Korea, Africa, and USA; "How To Stay Motivated During Difficult Times" and "The Finish Line"

He has appeared in famous radio shows and been featured in countless news papers all around the country. He's currently the CEO of A. Success Training, former president of Inspiration Magazine, and a national known speaker.

His messages reach millions every week in 33 countries around the globe through his site at http://www.TheCubanGuy.com. But what inspires his audiences the most is that he has accomplished all that by the age of 24.

Yet not everything came on a silver spoon for him. You see, at the age of 16 he escaped from Cuba. He arrived to America not knowing a word of English, without his parents, without any money, and was even homeless for a while.

How was he able to turn his life around? How did he go from living his worst nightmare (living on the streets) to living his dream? What inspired him? What had him succeed in spite of all his challenges? That’s what he will reveal in his sessions.  For more info contact him.

Leslie Fisher
CONFERENCE PRESENTER  / EDUCATIONAL TRAINER / FORMER SYSTEMS ENGINEER AT APPLE

fisher_sits-300x199.jpg

Leslie is the Director of Fisher Technologies Inc, or lesliefisher.com. FTI provides K-12 Technology Conference Presenting, Training and a bit of Web Development.

She somewhat fell into starting her own company. She was at Apple Computer for 5 years as a K-12 Senior Systems Engineer. She had 1/3 of Los Angeles as her territory based out of the Irvine office. Apple hit some tough times in 1997 and Leslie was let go. It all worked out wonderfully in the end.

At Apple, Leslie worked closely with K-12 educators as well as Apple corporate on product information and direction. She was at Apple when the internet took off and was smitten. Being a huge fan of efficiency, she saw the web as a vehicle for that.

After being let go, Leslie created FTI and went to work for 3 different school districts providing web development services.

She quickly decided to add conference presenting to her company. Someone was sick who was supposed to present at a conference and she went from Attendee to Presenter. Leslie did some conference work for the coordinator of that event, and word of mouth and referrals put conference presenting and training as the core of her company. She presents at close to 25 – 30 conferences a year as well as offering on site training. United Airlines knows Leslie well.

Leslie started USC as a music major. While interning at a recording studio her Junior year, she watched as a Macintosh was used to run time code for a string section. This inspired Leslie, increasing her desire to know more about this computer and the role it had in music. Leslie fell in love with the Macintosh so much that she changed her major. She graduated with a BS in Marketing in 1990.
