Flood the Hill: A National Advocacy Event

Join COABE in Washington, D.C., for Flood the Hill during Adult Education and Family Literacy (AEFL) Week. This impactful event brings together adult learners, educators, and advocates from across the country to meet with Members of Congress and share how adult education transforms lives and communities. COABE members are invited to engage directly with federal lawmakers, elevate the voice of the field, and build lasting relationships with elected officials. When possible, participants are encouraged to bring outstanding learners and workforce partners to help showcase their work on a national stage.

While this activity is not funded by COABE, the organization will provide meals and support on Monday evening, Tuesday morning, and Tuesday evening; participants simply cover their own travel and lodging.
